The Bait Shop

Gus’ Bait Shop is a hub of activity.  Beginning with “coffee hour with Gus” from 8-9 a.m. ET, Gus’ day gets a kick start.Fresh, lively bait and basic fishing tackle is available year ’round, and bait is available, with an honor-pay box, in the After-Hours self serve, anytime the shop doors must be closed. Gus does his best to keep the doors open 7 days a week from 8 a.m -5 p.m ET, however there are times he just can’t be on site. Bear season is an especially difficult time to keep the main shop open, as Gus spends a good part of each day baiting his bear stands.  If we don’t have what you need in the self-serve, please phone ahead so we can make sure an attendant is on duty.

Gus and Nettie have been in the fish taxidermy business since 2000, and have 21 years and an estimated 2,000 fish mounts experience between us.  All of our fish taxidermy is done from natural skin mounts.  We have a turn-around time of 12 months or less, and offer very competitive pricing.
