The Lake Gogebic Times

Carolyn Maves 575-3582 or 575-5555 The Lake Gogebic Times is the official publication of The Lake Gogebic Area Chamber of Commerce and is published annually. In 2006, 45,000 copies were printed for distribution. Distribution takes place at the various sport shows attended by the LGACC, the Western Upper Peninsula Convention and Visitor Bureau and the Upper Peninsula Travel and Recreation Association, as well as in visitor welcome centers throughout the U.P. Gogebic Times are also mailed out by the chamber in response to direct inquiries or requests for information that come to the chamber and through mailing lists obtained through U.P.T.R.A. (see above). The Gogebic Times should also be made accessible to tourists at each business location (please see below to obtain papers).
Members can make arrangements
to pick up bundles of the "Times" for distribution by their
business, by contacting Bear from Bear's Nine Pines at
842-3361.
To place an ad in the “Times”, contact Lynn Drews at Bear’s Nine Pines Resort 842-3361. You must be a Lake Gogebic Area Chamber of Commerce member in good standing to place an ad in the Times. We encourage everyone to take photos or write articles of anything pertaining to the Lake Gogebic area. To submit an article, photo, or other information contact Carolyn Maves at above info.
