Copper Peak Mountain Adventure rides to the top of the world’s largest ski flying structure via the 810-foot chair lift and 18 story elevator provide the visitor with a vista unsurpassed in the Midwest. The main observation deck provides a 360 degree, unobstructed view overlooking 2,500 square miles of the Western Lake Superior Basin. Copper Peak is a Michigan registered historic site. Location: ten miles north o Bessemer/Ironwood on the Black River National Scenic Byway. Exit US 2 to Powderhorn Road 1 ½ miles west of Bessemer, then proceed nine miles north. Open daily (except Monday) 10am-5pm (CT) mid-June thru Labor Day: weekends, Memorial Day to mid-June and after Labor Day through the Fall color season.
